Celebrating Black History Through Personal Stories at the Cass County Breakfast Event
On February 4, 2026, our own Brenda Beadenkopf was honored to emcee the Black History Breakfast from 7:30–9:30 AM, hosted and sponsored by the Cass County Council on Aging in Cassopolis. Niles Rallies
Today is Monday, and I’m looking forward to another rally in Niles from 11:30-12:30. Standing on the sidewalk by the street, it is so much fun to cheer and wave at those going by. We have signs saying, “I voted for budget cuts.” “Stop Waste, Fraud and Abuse.” “Honk If You Love Maga.” And the honking, thumbs up, and cheering for President Trump and his team in response are as encouraging to us as we are uplifting to the passers-by.
