Uniting for Liberty: Strengthening Our Resolve in America’s 250th Year

Updated: Jan 27

Fellow soldiers in the fight for liberty,

Greetings in this 250th year of freedom in America! As Chairman of the Cass County Republican Party (CCRP), I’d like to take this opportunity to speak plainly on a few matters going into 2026.

In a world of increasing division and 24-hour media spin, there seem to be endless causes for concern in a society fixated on fear of the future. And at the risk of sounding alarmist, I ask sincerely, what is at stake in the fight we are now facing?

The answer is, nothing short of … everything. Prosperity, common decency, security, family, freedom—all are on the line in this battle. It’s a battle for the heart and soul of America. It’s a fight we did not ask for, but it is upon us, nonetheless.

The enemies of our Republic are both seething and tireless in their pursuit of tyranny in all forms. Their minions seem driven to madness at every turn, becoming increasingly more violent and unpredictable in their demands.

Think I’m overstating it? Think Charlie Kirk—a man on a mission to free the hearts and minds of America’s youth; a man of peace and kindness who paid the ultimate price for simply speaking the truth in love.

Or what about the fraud in Minnesota? Or the attacks on federal agents? Or the open calls for civil war by opposition leaders? Or the millions of criminal invaders putting a tremendous strain on our country’s available jobs, housing, and resources?

Most of the chaos appears to be in the big cities. But let’s briefly consider the home front. Corporate juggernauts have moved in and bought up huge swaths of local farmland and industrial property, beginning to erect expansive solar farms and data centers that not only disrupt the familiar scenery but introduce light, noise, and other pollutants, with untold potential ramifications. At the same time, our region has increasingly become a center for a host of dispensaries and marijuana grow operations, with similar effect.

We can’t pinpoint a single source, but the result is the same—our children and grandchildren face unprecedented challenges in establishing themselves in regular society, while seniors find it increasingly difficult to afford life’s necessities. So how do we become part of the solution?

Join us in the fight. • Initiate or renew your CCRP membership in 2026. • Attend the Delegates Committee meetings on first Tuesdays to connect with our wonderful team. • Learn about local issues. • Speak up at a town hall event. • Stay informed through CassCountyGOP.org.

“It does not take a majority to prevail … but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.” – Samuel Adams

Become part of the tireless minority in Cass County who are determined to make a difference. For over five years, I’ve had the distinct privilege of working with these outstanding patriots who love our country too much to see it go down without a fight. The time for indecision and apathy is truly over. Let’s actively champion the cause of freedom, together, for the good of all.

Yours in the fight,

Dan Adams

Chairman, Cass County Republican Party
